The Orange County Register has provided the MVHS Music Programs a fabulous opportunity to enrich our program with little to no cost to us. OC Register is trying to improve its readership and has given us the opportunity to sell a one-year Sunday only subscription for 2¢. For each subscription we obtain, the OC Register will pay to Music Programs $10. The subscription cannot be for anyone currently subscribing, but it can be for anyone in the readership area. The subscription will automatically stop at the end of one year - not the usual situation wherein you are obligated to call and stop.
If you have not figured out how to make your Fair Share Contribution, the answer is right here! This fundraiser goes 50% to the individual student and 50% to the general fund. MVHSIMBA will credit $5 for each Sunday subscription that is paid by OC Register to the corresponding student account. If you submit 160 subscriptions, all of your FSC is paid, AND you have made a nice contribution to the Music Programs as well. There is nothing to buy, nothing you must invest - it will just take some effort on your part.

Each Marching Band Student is responsible for the following items: To be donated for the Home Field Show Competition.
(12 PACK OF SODA) as assigned by section:
Alto Sax Pepsi Low End Pepsi Baritone Diet Pepsi Clarinet Diet Coke Tuba Diet Pepsi Battery Coke Middle Horn Sprite/Sierra Mist Pit Sprite/Sierra Mist Trumpet Sprite/Sierra Mist Flute Diet Sprite/Diet Sierra Mist
Someone will be in front of the teacher’s parking lot (first lot on the right) Every morning between 7:30 – 8:00am to drop off your donation. Make sure your student checks in with the attending adult so he/she gets credit. (This does not apply to the Color Guard as they donate candy for sale at the Home Comp already.)

MVHS Marching Band and Color Guard needs a truck driver. We need a licensed Class A driver who will drive Black Beauty for us. We are looking for a mom, dad, guardian, friend, cousin, grandparent, neighbor, or someone else who will donate their time and talent for the great cause of music education at MVHS. This lucky person will get to “Drive with Pride” and help support the best music program anywhere. What’s in it for you?
