Welcome to MVHS Music
The Mission Viejo High School Instrumental Music department, under the direction of John Hannan and Doug Meeuwsen, features many award winning music programs. These include Marching Band, Color Guard, Jazz Band, Orchestra, Percussion, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. The Mission Viejo High School Instrumental Music Boosters Association [MVHSIMBA] supports these music programs, the talented student performers, and the outstanding instructional staff with the tremendous support from many of our volunteer parents.

California Adventure Marching Band Rehearsal Schedule [UPDATED]
The rehearsal schedule for the marching band California Adventure performance on January 6, 2009 is now availalbe. The parade performance will be at 12:30PM. The color guard rehearsal schedule will be added soon.

Marching Band and Color Guard - 2008 WBA Silver Medalists!
The Mission Viejo High School Marching Band and Color Guard are the 2008 WBA SILVER MEDALISTS for the combined 4A/5A division! Mission Viejo made their last performance of 'The Tenth World' a memorable one, with an inspired performance that received an exceptional score of 96.35. [ Scores | Recap ] Mission Viejo also received the caption award for High Percussion. This was the first caption award of the season for the percussion unit! Great job! Congratulations to the entire marching band, color guard, and all of the instructors and staff for another wonderful marching band season!
